What I can help with
From the car to the kitchen tap — one trusted local.
A trained mechanic with a fully-equipped workshop, who's also the neighbour you can call for a leaking pipe or a wardrobe that won't build itself. Below is what I do most often.
Why HiDan
Reliable help, the way it should feel.
There are plenty of handymen. The difference is how the visit feels — communication, respect for your home, and work you don't have to redo.
-
Respectful in your home
Boots covered, dust sheets down, mess cleaned up before I leave.
-
Punctual & responsive
I turn up when I say I will, and reply to messages — not days later.
-
Clear quotes, fair pricing
A simple price upfront. No "while I'm here" surprises on the invoice.
-
Done properly the first time
Small jobs deserve the same care as big ones. Solid fixings, level finishes.
Recent work
A mix of recent jobs.
A mechanic by trade and a fixer by nature — here's a snapshot of the kind of work I do across Essex, from servicing cars to sorting kitchens.
What people say
Built on reliability, not adverts.
Real feedback from local customers. New reviews go on the site as they arrive.
Danial arrived on time and sorted three jobs around the house in one visit — TV mounted, two shelves up and a wobbly door fixed. Polite, careful and tidied up after himself. Will use again.
Quick to reply on WhatsApp, came out the same day for a leaking tap and stayed to fit a new toilet seat. Fair price for the time it took — no surprises.
Booked Danial for a TV mount and a couple of garden fence repairs. Turned up when he said he would, sent photos once everything was done. Straightforward and reasonably priced.
